‘Connect With Nature’ is the theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week, which is running from 10-16th May. Walking outdoors and interacting with nature are key ways people look after their wellbeing, even more so during recent lockdowns. Morplan is a supplier of hundreds of eco-friendly products, thus doing our part to care for nature. We also package and deliver orders sustainably, enabling all of our customers to support the campaign too.
One of our core values is “catering for the consumer need not mean costing the Earth”. We have made a huge effort to ensure we offer a vast environmentally-friendly range. You’ll find all the retail equipment you need, including reclaimed wooden Blue City furniture, sustainably sourced bamboo clothes hangers and recyclable paper bags. We even stock 100% biodegradable male and female mannequins which are made from bio-resin, raffia paper and rice powder.
As climate change becomes an increasing concern, we’ve made it our mission to match these ideals too. Some of the key elements we’ve been focusing on to meet these goals are:
Sourcing sustainable products, meaning those made using eco-friendly materials or manufacturing methods.
All of our deliveries are packaged within 100% recyclable cardboard boxes, as well as void-filled with biodegradable pellets.
We use a worldwide delivery service with a Carbon Neutral program. We also use our own transport between HQ and our London store.
We recycle or reincinerate 100% of our waste. Therefore, we are officially a zero landfill company.
We think of ourselves as one big family, frequently arranging staff events to raise money for local charities. These include company lunches, seasonal parties and ‘Bake Off’ contests. A local massage therapist also visits our head office regularly, giving staff a chance to relax and unwind.
